Happy Labor Day

Friends…

Our nation, states, and the cities we live in were built on the backs of many who labored to create the infrastructure, services and amenities that we so often take for granted. From the settlement of this great country, through the industrial era, and right up to today, the strength and well-being of our country lies in the hands and labor of our people.

This Labor Day, let’s give tribute to all of our hard workers who have labored in love and left us with a legacy of hope and determination. Even here in Pompano Beach, I’m mindful of the pioneers who built this city, including my grandparents and neighbors who worked the bean fields and carved out a section of Pompano that they could call home – the same place that is my home today – northwest Pompano.

I’m proud of my Pompano heritage and the work that many have done to afford me the opportunity of running to be the next District 4 Commissioner.

Happy Labor Day to you and your family. Enjoy it safely!
